Movement on The Mount: FREE Fitness is Here for Acton Women!

We have some incredibly exciting news to share with the women of Acton (W3)!
At Acton West London (AWL), we believe that health and well-being should be accessible to everyone, regardless of background, income, or confidence level. That’s why we’re absolutely thrilled to officially launch “Movement on The Mount”—a brand new, FREE weekly fitness programme designed just for you.
What is Movement on The Mount?

This project is all about breaking down the barriers that often stop women from getting active. It’s not just about exercise; it’s about building confidence, forming new connections, and fostering a supportive community right here in W3.
Thanks to vital funding from Sports England, we’ve been able to partner with the brilliant instructors from Ealing Fit Club to offer these sessions. This means you get expert-led, fun, and inclusive classes at absolutely no cost!
Who Is This Programme For?

We know that life often gets in the way of putting your health first. This programme is intentionally designed to welcome women who face common barriers to fitness, including:
- Women who feel shy or lack confidence about starting an exercise routine.
- Mums, unpaid carers, and those with high responsibilities who struggle to find time for themselves.
- Those on a low income or who are unemployed, for whom gym fees are out of reach.
- Women across the generations, specifically those aged 15+ and 65+.
If you’ve been looking for a judgment-free, friendly atmosphere where you can move your body, laugh, and get stronger, this is it!
Where and When Does It Start?
Our FREE weekly sessions begin this November and will be held at the spacious and welcoming St Mary’s Church Hall, on The Mount, Acton.
The Ealing Fit Club team will be there to guide you through fun and accessible movements, ensuring everyone, regardless of current ability, feels included and challenged in a positive way.
It’s time to stop putting your health on the back burner. It’s time to find your movement groove.
Term 1 Programmes ( November to December 2025)
EveryWoman – A holistic Core and Pelvic Floor Restore course for all women who want to strengthen their pelvic floor and core. Monday mornings from 10/11 – 16/12
Seniors Fit Club – Low impact strength and mobility classes for women aged 50+. Tuesday mornings from 4/11 to 09/12
