ESOL for Integration, Employability and Social Cohesion- Project Ended

We’re pleased to announce we are bringing back our ESOL course for Hillingdon residents.

Supported by:

The aim of the ESOL for Integration, Employability and Social Cohesion Project is to help Hillingdon residents from Trust wards with low-level English and IT skills to improve their language/IT skills by creating learning opportunities in and out of the classroom. This will help them to integrate into society and to participate in the wider community.

Participants will improve English language and IT /E-learning skills through:

  • Focussed and clearly structured ESOL classes with an emphasis on learner autonomy through peer support and collaboration;
  • The latest developments in IT/e-learning (live online conversation and grammar sessions)

Getting Started

We will also train 8 Volunteers to support the project and sustain its work through participation on our unique teaching and supporting learning course. This will ensure that the online learning groups will become self-sustaining and will continue even when the project has ended.

If you’d like to register for a place on the course or  if you’re interested in volunteering please get in touch with our Head of Education Marcin; marcin.lewandowski@actionwestlondon.org.uk or call 0208 993 9605
