Action Talent Supporting Londoners into Good Work and Sustainable Careers

We offer personalised support for Londoners who often face the highest barriers to employment. This project specifically focuses on:

  • Young Black men (aged 16–24)
  • Older Black men (aged 50+)
  • Black women
  • Pakistani and Bangladeshi women

We provide additional, tailored support for disabled individuals and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds within these groups to help overcome overlapping challenges in the job market.

How we will help!

Our team works with you one-to-one to bridge the gap between unemployment and a rewarding career. We provide:

  • 1-2-1 Mentoring: Regular meetings with a dedicated caseworker who understands your goals.
  • Access to “Good Jobs”: We only focus on roles that pay the London Living Wage, offer at least 16 hours a week, and provide at least 12 weeks of stable work.
  • Sector-Specific Training: Support to enter high-growth industries like Green Construction, Tech, Health & Social Care, and Creative industries.
  • CV & Interview Prep: Professional help to make your applications stand out and practice for the big day.
  • No Zero-Hours Contracts: We advocate for your security, ensuring the roles we find do not use exploitative contracts.
  • Practical Support: Help with travel costs, work clothes, and wellbeing to ensure you are ready for your new start.
