This September, Action West London held its Away Day at the London office of major Law firm, Blake Morgan.

The purpose of the day was to review and refresh AWL’s goals and objectives measured against its mission statement of reducing poverty by “changing lives through Education, Employment and Enterprise.”
Those attending were a mix of Trustees (including two newly appointed trustees from business and social sector backgrounds), AWL’s CEO, Gary Buckley and AWL staff.
Tony Coyne, Chair of AWL and Blake Morgan Partner said: “It was a great day buzzing with energy as colleagues got together to discuss and agree on future priorities as we set out our work in supporting the least advantaged members of our community. I want to express my thanks to all those who attended and who made the day such a successful event.”
Tony also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Blake Morgan for hosting AWL with a special mention to the Facilities and IT teams for making the day run so smoothly.
Echoing Tony’s comments, AWL CEO Gary Buckley said: “I would like to thank Blake Morgan for hosting us and trustees and AWL staff for their hard work and valuable contributions.”
