In 2019 MHDT has been awarded a contract to deliver its social regeneration services on the Acton Gardens large housing regeneration scheme. Services will include management of the new purpose built (Acton Gardens) Community Centre; community project management; social impact assessment and community capacity building.
MHDT helps to create places where people live happily together. They think that this is best achieved by having communities that thrive and are sustainable. Their approach ensures those in the community have the capacity to determine how their community can change for the better. For the voluntary, private and public sectors this means costs savings; value for money; community support; increased social impact.
As part of this contract MHDT will manage the new Community Centre and upstairs offices/co-workeing space on Acton Gardens and they are looking for a number of Centre Workers based in Acton who will ensure that the Centre is open at stated hours; safe and accessible to the local community.
Centre Workers will be employed on Flexible Contracts, and these contracts guarantee Centre Workers a minimum of 20hours work each month. Full training will be given.
