Mary Lancaster and volunteers have run a bric a brac and clothing stall at Acton Market every Saturday to raise funds for Blue Cross’s work with cats and dogs. This month the stall will have raised a staggering  £100,000 since it started 10 years ago.

Our Chief Executive  John Blackmore said:  ‘ Mary and her volunteers first started with 1 stall and 1 table and raised £50 on their first day 10 years ago. They are really dedicated and run their stall every Saturday throughout the year. We are delighted to assist them with our Market. Not only do they raise funds to help animal welfare — but they also provide a service for the local community with the vast range of items they sell at bargain prices’.

The Blue Cross stall is having a celebration TEA PARTY  this Saturday 20th July from 10a.m-4pm and we’re delighted to invite you along and show your support for this great local charity.

Donations of bric a brac and other items would be much appreciated and are always welcome.  Please contact Mary on 0208 723 8375 or drop things off at the Market or at the Blue Cross stall (opposite Morrison’s entrance) which is on every Saturday.
